Rock Lake Grill & RV Resort: Your Ideal Getaway for Great Food and Fun

We really enjoyed our stay at Rock Lake Campground. There was plenty of room for our rv ,trailer and space to set up my art studio. Laundry facilities were nice and clean. We ate at the restaurant Wednesday evening and the staff and food were awesome. Actually the hand tossed pizza was some of the best I have had. Turns out the owner used to own a pizzeria and makes all the dough and sauce from scratch. We rv all around the USA and would definitely recommend this place

I ordered shrimp ($19). The shrimp were very tough and tasteless. The hash brown potatoes were very good. Cole slaw was okay. The bread was marbled rye (really?). For the price, I expected much better. I will never waste my $ on shrimp there again. My husband had deep fried fish and was satisfied (he's very particular about fried fish.). He agreed about the tasteless and tough shrimp. When asked by the staff about how we liked the meal, I talked about the bad shrimp. They received the feedback and offered a $3 drink ticket. The music was jazzy and annoying to this country girl.

We stopped at the little restaurant to cool off after riding around hickory ridge trails. Restaurant food was tasty cheese curds were delicious and the burger wasnt too bad. Quiet little place to bring the family and relax.

Nice campground in the country beside beautiful lake. Bar and grill in the middle, good food, cold beer. Nice pool. Stayed in a 30ft 5th wheel. A bit tight maneuver for the dump station. Owner and staff very nice. Would stay again..

We enjoyed the location and the employees for our summer long stay. The regulars and full time folks were nice as well. The restaurant serves the usual resort fare. The hand tossed pizzas were a great addition! We didn't appreciate the owner so much. We too had to lobby hard to get our deposit back! Counter Response: Since the owner has a bad Napoleon complex and can't handle constructive criticism allow me to expound. The mess he has accused us of leaving was the one he and his staff never cleaned up before our arrival. His response in our follow up to this point backed up by witnesses was a condescending one stating how we should leave his place cleaner than we found it. Really? Is it not your duty "owner" to have the site that we are paying for clean when we begin our stay. As you can see he cuts and pastes the final part of the response! Free advertisement?

We camped for four nights at Rock Lake and had a very nice time! Jerry, the owner, was nice and helpful with a booking snafu on my end. We had booked sites 29 & 30 to camp with my parents, and found 30 much wider (we have opposing slides). Grassy sites with a fire ring, beautiful lake views! Had fun fishing, game room was well kept and affordable, pool was clean. The restaurant was great! Delicious pizza, fish fry, affordable well made drinks. Kayla was the highlight of our time there, she's a fantastic and kind bartender! Thank you!

Classic bar and grill on a lake in the woods. It doesn't get any better than that. A rustic lodge setting with views of the lake right from your table. They had some of the best fish I ever had, and I've had a lot of fish fries. Broiled yet crispy! It was perfect.
